The German automaker received permission from the German authorities to use a new type of backlight – turquoise. It will appear in the anterior and rear optics, and at the same time it is integrated into the signals of turns in the side mirrors. When the turquoise suspension is turned on, this means that the car is driving in unmanned mode. In the future, this color can be a national standard for drones.

Initially, the autopilot worked at a speed of up to 64 kilometers per hour, but last year the company introduced its new version with which cars can move in autonomous mode at speeds of up to 95 kilometers per hour. By the end of this decade, the threshold is promised to raise the threshold to the most permitted 130 kilometers per hour.

Cars with Drive Pilot are equipped with reserve steering and brake actuators, as well as a backup on -board power supply, which allows you to continue moving in case of refusal of the main systems.

Drive Pilot is available as an option by subscription, the cost of which in Germany is 5950 euros (570 thousand rubles at the rate of today).
