The Japanese automaker presented a hybrid installation of a new generation, which the first to receive the XFORCE crossover for the Thai market. This is the further development of the E: Motion technology already proven, familiar in the hybrid crosswan Expander. However, if the Expander Hev has a single -stage gearbox in the installation, then in the new generation it is two -stage.
A power plant that can work both in sequential and parallel mode, on the XFORCE HEV consists of a gasoline “atmospheric” with a capacity of 107 horsepower and a 116-horsepower electric motor. The machine starts on the electric trim, then the engine is connected, and at high speeds the crossover rides on the fuel. When braking and moving, the recovery regime is turned on. The battery capacity in Mitsubishi has not yet been voiced, as well as dynamic characteristics.

For the hybrid XFORCE, a system for choosing traffic modes with seven presets is declared: standard (priority of battery charging), electric (priority in the electric protrusion), as well as depending on the type of coating – asphalt, gravel, mud and rain.
Mitsubishi XFORCE HEV will be produced at the factory in Thailand, while gasoline modification of the crossover is collected in Indonesia. Reception of orders is already open, prices start from 899 thousand baht (2.8 million rubles).
