New digital capabilities will appear on the model before the end of 2026. The press service of the car plant told Motor magazine about this. They emphasized that crossover updates are carried out in parallel with the localization of key components, including traction batteries.

“We work on each of the models in accordance with its life cycle. Moskvich 3e, for example, is undergoing updates combined with localization. Serial production of the traction battery is planned to be established at the lithium-ion battery plant under construction in Krasnaya Pakhra. Glass, tires, wheels, interior and exterior parts have already been localized. Also, additional integration of telematics services is planned this year,” the company said in response to a request about a possible modernization of the electric crossover.

The Moskvich automobile plant began equipping gasoline versions of the Moskvich 3 crossover with telematics services in the fall of 2025. The first cars with the new option went on sale in October of the same year.

The telematics complex is a factory-installed unit that allows the owner to control vehicle functions remotely through an application on a smartphone. With its help, you can remotely start and stop the engine, unlock doors, and turn on climate control to warm up the interior in winter.

The application also allows you to track the location of the car in real time, monitor fuel level, battery charge, tire pressure and receive notifications about alarms or other important events.
