The capital’s automobile plant has issued a new vehicle type approval for the electric version of the Moskvich crossover. As the editors of Motor magazine found out, the new document, in addition to Chinese JAC batteries, also lists domestically produced batteries.
The Russian company Renera is announced as the battery supplier: it will ship the NE 1800−420.LC model to the Moskvich automobile plant. With it, the crossover should travel 397 km (the Chinese equivalent provides 410 km).
The description of the energy source states that this is a lithium-ion battery with a carbon anode and a nickel-manganese-cobalt cathode. Operating voltage is from 270 to 420 V, and capacity is 180 Ah.
