The editors of Motor magazine have compiled a selection of the most affordable options for new foreign cars made in China, which you can look at with about 2 million rubles. All of these are options that have engines with an output of less than 160 hp: they can be imported by paying a preferential recycling fee rate.

The list includes the Volkswagen Tharu XR crossover, the Kia KX1 hatchback, as well as the second-generation Nissan Qashqai (the third generation is sold all over the world, but the Dongfeng-Nissan joint venture continues to produce second-generation cars).

The list continues with the compact all-terrain vehicle Mazda CX-30 and the mid-size sedan Hyundai Elantra, while the legendary Elantra can now be purchased at a price of about 2 million rubles. All these cars are made by Chinese factories.

Let us remind you: from December 1 last year, the Russian authorities abolished preferential recycling rates for cars more powerful than 160 hp. From this moment on, “pre-utility” options began to be in high demand.

The BMW 7 Series will retain its “beyond ugliness” design for a long time. Chinese BYD is ready to buy a company from the top 10 global auto giants. Belgee has partially declassified the X50+ crossover for the Russian market.

Previously, experts named 10 family crossovers that have not broken down for years. The rating of the most reliable family crossovers was compiled based on a survey of car owners no older than five years.
