The Porsche Macan GTS Electric is the fifth modification in the line of electric compact crossovers. It can be identified by black exterior accents, unique front and rear bumpers, and a black lip on the active rear spoiler.
Porsche In addition to the recognizable design, the GTS received darkened head and rear lights and extended side sills. This is the only electric car in the Macan family that is already equipped with 21‑inch wheels as standard.
Porsche The air suspension in Normal mode lowers the body 10 mm lower than other versions of the Macan Electric. In sport modes, the ground clearance is reduced even further, giving the crossover the appearance of a loaded hatchback.
Porsche Two electric motors (one on each axle) provide all-wheel drive. The rear unit is borrowed from the most powerful Turbo version – this is the key technical difference of the GTS.
Porsche Under normal conditions, the system produces 509 hp. and 675 Nm of torque. When Launch Control mode is activated, overboost is activated: power briefly increases to 563 hp and peak torque to 704 Nm. Acceleration to 100 km/h takes 3.4 seconds.
Porsche The standard Sport Chrono package includes the Track Endurance mode previously familiar from the Taycan. It actively cools the high-voltage battery before intense track riding, preventing power loss due to overheating.
Porsche A 95 kWh traction battery is used, common to all Macan Electrics. When connected to DC fast charging, the power can reach 270 kW. The system can split an 800-volt package in half for charging from 400-volt stations, including the Tesla Supercharger.
Porsche Air struts, springs and anti-roll bars have their own calibration. In combination with optional rear wheel steering and a low center of gravity, the engineers were able to effectively “disguise” the curb weight of about 2.5 tons.
Porsche On the Angeles Crest Highway test route, the crossover demonstrated tenacity that is unusual for a heavy SUV. The steering is slightly sharper than on other versions of the Macan EV, while retaining the characteristic Porsche feedback.
Porsche As befits a GTS, the suspension is firmer over bumps than in regular versions, but this does not lead to discomfort. The standard 18-way adjustable sports seats provide excellent lateral support.
Porsche Sport Plus mode activates a new sound profile that is louder than standard. Artificial sounds can be turned off completely, but a bass-rich track synthesized from the noise of electric motors helps the driver more accurately judge speed.
Porsche The brake mechanisms (discs and calipers) are unified with the Turbo version. The brake pedal has a dense force and is devoid of transition processes between recuperation and the operation of the friction pads.
Porsche An expanded package of assistants is offered for the 2026 model. Transparent forward visibility (a camera shows the area under the hood) helps you see curbs, and the Trained Parking function remembers up to five parking scenarios.
Porsche The Reversing Assist function automatically repeats the last 50 meters of forward movement, but in the opposite direction. Remote Park Assist allows you to control maneuvers from your smartphone, which can now also be used as a digital key.
Porsche The Macan GTS starts at $107,700, so there’s plenty of signage everywhere to remind you where your money went.
