Mosobladu adopted a law that allows motorcyclists to park for paid parking in the region for free, writes TASS. This also applies to scooters and other two -wheeled vehicles, lawmakers clarify. In addition, motorists will be able to use parking lots if they belong to the preferential category of citizens, as well as large families.
The law gives the right to certain categories of citizens to park for free on “paid parking lots on lands in state or municipal property.” Drivers who are laid out for benefits will be able to use this right if their vehicle is included in a special register. It will lead the Ministry of Transport and Road Infrastructure of the Moscow Region.
Free parking will be for large families. Such owners will need to register their cars in the corresponding registry. This can be done through the public services portal with the entry into force of the law.

Paid parking appeared in the Moscow region on November 1, 2024.
