The mass segment of the car market demonstrates an increase in the average check for maintenance from 18 thousand rubles to 20 thousand rubles (+10%). These are cars from Chinese brands that are under official warranty. Roman Timashov, Deputy General Director for VIP of the Avtodom group of companies, spoke about this in a conversation with Motor.
“The average check for maintenance in 2026 for premium cars remained unchanged – 33 thousand rubles. But the cost of a standard hour increased from 4 thousand rubles to 4.3 thousand rubles. The constant average bill indicates that customers are increasingly installing non-original spare parts (which are 30-50% cheaper than the original ones),” the expert noted.
Timashov named the second factor a flexible system of discounts, which is used by dealer service stations to keep customers in the orbit of the official service, given that most cars are already under warranty service.
The expert notes that, on the one hand, the market has stabilized and even demonstrated a decrease in wholesale prices for consumables by 10-15%. On the other hand, foreign policy risks remain that can disrupt established supply chains and affect the cost of spare parts.
