The German brand, losing position in China, has united with the local giant of Alibaba Internet trade to integrate its technologies into its future cars. The first electronic “brain” from China will receive electric cars of the Neue Klasse line next year, reports the publication of CARSCOOPS.

The QWEN model is already used by Chinese automakers, including Zeekr and Leapmotor, but it will appear on European machines for the first time.

ZEEEKR cars will be able to charge with a capacity of 1.2 megavatts during the year China will begin serial production of airmobiles. All Geely models will be equipped with an autopilot

BMW will get two electronic assistant-the so-called “AI-agent.” The first, Car Genius, will help with driving in real time, and the second, Travel Companion, look for various services and parking spaces, plan trips and offer restaurants based on the preferences of the user.

BMW hopes that the new partnership will not only help to catch up with the Chinese in the field of high technologies, but also increase the attractiveness of brand machines in the PRC.

Other auto giants also resort to Chinese technologies. So, in March it became known that Mercedes-Benz intends to purchase in the Celestial Lidars for its global models. The supplier has already been chosen: he will become HESAI, the largest local lidar manufacturer.
