The average -engine hatchback, developed by participants in the British Turin, received a new livery, seats and a modern media system. There are no changes in technology. The Micro is still driven by the modernized engine 3.5 based on the Murano block.

The update of the concept of 23 years ago is timed to launch the new Micra, but the magic of numbers is still important here. The number 23 is of particular importance for Nissan. In Japanese, it sounds like Ni-San, so for almost 40 years, this number has been carrying NISMO racing cars. The Micra 350SR prototype is also closely related to motorsport. The factory team of Nissana in the British body of the champion has put a hand in its development. The goal was simple: to demonstrate the flexibility of the platform and remind of the sports genealogy Micra, the beginning of which was laid by March Superturbo R.

The Micra 350SR concept has an average engineer layout, so in front it has an aluminum gas tank. The engine was created on the base of the “atmospheric” V6 3.5 from the Murano crossover, which was added by the cylinder head from 350Z, NISMO camshafts with a high valve rise and a modified ECU. Power – about 310 horsepower, the rear drive, mass – only 1200 kilograms. In addition to a crazy motor, Suprrice also has a safety frame, Brembo brakes and a fully customizable Powerflex pendant.

In the London studio, the Nissan Design Europe for the concert developed a new livery with the base in the form of a satinized “liquid silver”, which was diluted with blue accents and graphics in the style of 300ZX lamps. Original headlights were replaced with LED, with circles of running lights, and at the same time restored the 18-inch RAYS wheels. In the prototype salon, new chairs and seat belts appeared. Here you can find a modern media system with a 9-inch display and new speakers. The public debut of the updated Micra 350SR will take place at the Millbrook Proving Ground center in the SMMT Test Day event, where the car was tested more than 20 years ago.
