You can imagine what emotions at that moment were tested in the Lukoil Racing team, which was the rival of Simonov for. A few months later a new surprise awaited them-the current champion became the new pilot of the red-white team. And now the same engineers and mechanics who did everything a year ago in order to prevent Simonov from winning, now they must do everything to provide this rider to win.

In the new team, Mikhail will no longer be able to enjoy the support of Bragin, who will now be an opponent of his former ward. Can the current champion quickly get comfortable and fight for victories from the first stage? Or will it give this transition to the forceders – to the same Bragin or riders of the LADA factory team? Perhaps this is the main intrigue of the new season.

Who will challenge the king of budget races?

Three million rubles for the roadway is a lot. Three million rubles for a racing car are not a penny, but extremely budget. Only girls in Kokpit: women’s crew in long races

The competitions of the classes, which were discussed above, are part of the series of SMP RSKG Sprint, where at the weekend athletes they conduct a pair of short half -hour races. But within the framework of the Russian series of ring racing, the Marathon series of the SMP RSKG Endurans, consisting of racing with a length of 4 to 6 hours. And the first such race will be held on Sunday, May 18.

The main stars of the marathon races in the last two years are crews on the BR03 prototypes developed and produced in Russia. These are relatively simple machines (spatial frame, external fiberglass panels, atmospheric motor) – but on the highway they confidently compete with higher -tech racing foreign cars of the GT3 category. In the past, and in the year before last, the Russian Cup in Endurance Racing was obtained by the crews who spoke at the wheel of the BR03.

The most attention to himself was attracted by the star crew of Vitaly Petrov and Sergey Sirotkin. Firstly, Russian pilots Formula 1-by default the most famous riders of the country. Secondly, it was Vitaly and Sergey who acted most successfully and won the races more often than their colleagues.

But now the star crew has a serious competitor – two fragile girls, Ira Sidorkova from Petrozavodsk and Muscovite Victoria Blokhina, will replace each other at number 51. Both have been performing in races for several years and have long proved that they can go very quickly. But in order to fight for victories with crews on other BR03 and foreign supercars, it will be necessary to squeeze out the maximum cars. And there is a suspicion that in this struggle, the sympathy of the public will be on the side of Ira and Vicki.
