In December last year, the Motorinvest company opened sales of the second generation Evolute i-Joy electric crossover. The newcomer is a variation of the Chinese Nammi 06 model from the Dongfeng concern. After several months of operation, the owners discovered an unexpected feature of the machines.
In blogs of car owners on the Drive2 website, Motor magazine found several complaints about the organization of the engine compartment of the Evolute i-Joy. So, in the inner arches of the front wheels there are large open openings through which dirt gets inside.
A more unexpected problem was that cats like the space under the hood: “For me, the main problem is the neighbor’s cat, which comes at night and climbs onto the very comfortable felt mat on the engine,” writes one of the owners of the Evolute.
Neither the manufacturer nor the dealers offer ready-made solutions to close the opening. Therefore, motorists are forced to find an alternative: for now, the most effective option is to attach an ordinary rubber mat with your own hands.
