The charged hybrid truck debuted a year and a half ago, but all the characteristics are confirmed only now. The serial RamCharger is inferior to the concept-frame in power (663 versus 672 horsepower) and the dynamics of acceleration (0-96 km/h in 4.5 seconds instead of 4.4 seconds). And the main news was the equipped mass of 3.4 tons: this is the heaviest RAM, almost three centners more than the infernal TRX!

The STELLANTIS concern is non-standard: the bet was made on a sequential hybrid with an atmospheric 3.6-liter V6 as a generator. The mighty gasoline engine forced to preserve a solid 102-liter fuel tank, also contributed to the battery with a capacity of 91.8 kilowatt hours.

Supply RAM 1500 RamCharger will begin in the second half of the year. Prices have not yet been announced, but according to rumors, a truck with a hybrid system will cost about 60 thousand dollars. So far, there are no consistent hybrids in the US market in the class of full -sized pickups, so the successes of the new products will carefully monitor Ford and General Motors.
