The measure is aimed at improving the effectiveness of the penalties and increasing responsibility for malicious non -payers.

Citizens included in a special register of alimony debtors will be subject to new restrictions. It will include persons who have already been brought to administrative or criminal liability, as well as those who are on the wanted list. It is assumed that the register will be open for public access. According to preliminary calculations, up to 180 thousand Russians may include in the list. The launch of the registry is scheduled for May 25.
