The model was debuted for the first time in 2022 and replaced Kadjar in the European line of Renault. Now, for her, the first planned restyling has been prepared for her, during which Austral, firstly, was noticeably transformed from the outside and inside, secondly, acquired new systems, and thirdly, lost several electrified versions.
In Europe, Austral has a stretched version of Espace, which is positioned as an independent model, and it was its Renault who updated the first. Now the Austral’s turn has come, and its restyling has passed according to the same scenario as Espace: the design of optics has changed, which can be matrix, bumpers and luggage door, otherwise the radiator grille looks, the hood has been transformed, new shades were added to the palette.

New seats appeared in the cabin, noise insulation was improved and a salon chamber was added for the driver recognition system. The changes occurred under the hood – from the gamma excluded “soft -hybrid” options with a “turbotro” 1.2 and a 1.3 -liter turbo engine for 140 horsepower.

The updated Austral will be offered in Europe with a 1.3-liter ICE with a capacity of 160 forces, a 12-volt starter-generator and variator-this modification is now considered the “youngest”. An alternative will be a full-fledged hybrid with the installation of e-tech, consisting of a turbotrotka 1.2, a starter-generator, electric motor and battery with a capacity of two kilowatt hours. The aggregate output of the units is 200 horsepower. The front drive, while optionally provides for a full -focused 4Control chassis.
The renewed Renault Austral will be in the same place as dorestyling – at the factory in Spain. The start of sales is scheduled for the summer, prices will be announced closer to launch.
