The publication calls the novelty “the most effective Duster 4×4”: there will be no mechanical connection between the axes, a separate electric motor will appear behind. Thus, in the third generation, the full -wheel drive Duster will first appear with an automated transmission: now the 4×4 version happens only with “mechanics”.

Insiders believe that the new transmission will debut on a more expensive Dacia Bigster crossover, and Duster E-4WD will reach European dealers in a year-by the spring of 2026. Throughout the history of Duster, the model did not have an electric all -wheel drive, so by the standards of the Romanian company this is innovation. It is interesting that the third -generation was initially all -wheel drive for Duster, AvtoVAZ was engaged in the Renault Concern believed that Russian engineers could make a “cross -fuel” transmission with a lowering gear and a constant full -wheel drive.
