The bankrupt Chinese brand Lifan, which once assembled its cars at the Circassian Derways plant, was reborn some time ago with the support of the Geely concern. The Livan X3 Pro and Livan X6 Pro crossovers, as well as the S6 Pro sedan, are now sold in Russia.
“We are conducting a feasibility study on the localization program for headquarters to evaluate. The company’s plans for 2026 will be based on the results of the assessment,” Marina Krishtop, head of Livan’s marketing department, told RG.
At the moment, the brand cannot boast of outstanding sales: according to the Autostat agency, 3,932 Livan cars were sold in January-October 2025 (there are no more recent data yet).
Let us add that the Livan S6 Pro is a seriously redesigned Geely Emgrand GL sedan of the 2016 model, and the Livan X6 Pro is a redesign of the Geely Emgrand X7. In turn, the Maple X3 Pro hatchback is hidden under the name Livan X3 Pro.
