We are talking about the full redemption of Porsche shares in a joint venti-Rimac. According to unofficial data, the transaction is estimated in the amount of about 1.1 billion dollars. To supplant Porsche, Rimac will have to unite with other investors.
Representatives of Rimac and Porsche have refused to comment. The insiders made a reservation that the discussion of the transaction is at an early stage. The joint venture of Bugatti-Rimac was created in 2021 for the release of hypercars. The control package of shares of 55 percent belongs to the Rimac Automobili, the remaining share controlled Porsche, and the top managers of the Volkswagen concern were included in the supervisory board.
