Russians demand to make the bypass of Nizhnekamsk and Naberezhnye Chelny free

In shopping centers and stores in Nizhnekamsk, Naberezhnye Chelny, Elabuga and Mamadysh (37 points in total) the collection of signatures has begun for the abolition of tolls when traveling along the section of the M-12 highway, which is a toll bypass for Nizhnekamsk and Naberezhnye Chelny.

The bypass became paid on December 31, 2025. Since the beginning of March, Avtodor has introduced season tickets that allow motorists to save up to 64%, but this discount is only valid when purchasing a “pass” for 60 trips for a period of 180 days.

On one of the popular signature collection sites, a petition to abolish the fee received 15 thousand electronic signatures. It was created by a group of workers from Nizhnekamsk, who travel to Elabuga factories every day by personal transport.

4.5 thousand people gave live signatures. The initiative group plans to reach the 5,000th mark in order to then transfer the lists to the rais of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, who can contact the Avtodor management.
