Sales of the Deepal G318 hybrid crossover have started in Russia

This brand is a sub-brand of the Chinese automaker Changan. The new product will be offered to Russians in two trim levels at a price starting from 5.65 million rubles. Buyers were promised government support in the amount of 925 thousand rubles: the cars were assembled in Russia.

Deepal G318 is offered in Russia in two trim levels: Techno for 5.65 million rubles and Everest for 6 million rubles. The car is equipped with a sequential hybrid power plant. Under the hood is a 1.5-liter turbo engine, which acts as a generator for the traction battery. The wheels are driven by two electric motors with a total power of 439 hp. and torque 575 Nm. Acceleration to “hundreds” is 6.3 s.

The length of the car is 5010 mm, its dimensions are comparable to the Toyota Land Cruiser and Haval H9. However, unlike these models, it does not have a frame – the Deepal has a monocoque body. The power reserve exceeds 1 thousand km, of which the car can travel about 190 km on pure electricity.

Previously, the Deepal G318 received Vehicle Type Approval (VTA), which made it possible to officially launch the model on the Russian market and begin deliveries to dealerships,” emphasizes the Changan release received by Motor.
