Sales of the new Jetour crossover have begun in Russia

The mid-size X70 has entered the market: despite the absence of the Plus prefix, it is slightly longer than the one already familiar to Russians [X70 Plus](https://motor.ru/news/jetour-x70-plus-30-07-2024.htm). The cost of the new product is noticeably less – 2,649,000 rubles versus 2,999,000 rubles for a crossover with a “plus”. The Chery sub-brand offers the X70 in a single configuration with a 1.5-liter turbo engine producing 147 horsepower, a six-speed automatic transmission and uncontested front-wheel drive.

In China, the Jetour X70 is a whole family of cars, which includes both the regular X70 and variations of the X70M, X70S, X70 C-DM, X70 Plus and X70 Pro. The latter appeared in Russia at the end of November under the name Soueast S07.

In terms of dimensions, the new product is comparable to the X70 Plus, but slightly longer. It is 4.75 meters, width – 1.9 meters, height – 1.72 meters with a wheelbase of 2.75 meters. The crossover is three-row, with a 2+3+2 layout. On the front panel there is a free-standing 10.25-inch multimedia system screen with support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

The only equipment also includes LED optics, a panoramic roof, all-round cameras and six airbags. The crossover has been prepared for use in Russia: it has a winter package with heating for two rows of seats, steering wheel, windshield and washer nozzles.

In the foreseeable future, Jetour will present in Russia the brutal T1 crossover with an appearance in the spirit of the Haval H3. The 4.7-meter car will be offered to Russians, as expected, with “pure” internal combustion engines, although a plug-in hybrid is sold in China.
