The statistics were compiled based on an analysis of drivers’ requests to the “Road Assistance” service. According to the results of 2025, the most dangerous ones in Moscow were ring roads (MKAD and Third Transport Ring), as well as large and long outbound highways with heavy traffic, T-Insurance told Motor magazine.
“The largest number of accidents occurred on large city highways – the Moscow Ring Road, Leningradsky Prospekt and the Third Transport Ring, Entuziastov Highway and Varshavskoe Highway. Men most often sought help,” the study notes.
Of the 20.6 thousand cases of assistance to drivers in 2025, road accidents accounted for 62% of calls. Technical roadside assistance was requested by 17% of applicants, a dead battery was reported by 8%, towing was requested by 7%, and assistance with a flat tire was requested by 5%.
Earlier it became known that Hyundai Solaris, Kia Rio, VW Polo and Toyota Camry became the most accident-prone in Russia in 2025. These statistics were compiled by the car inspection service Avtocod. These cars are widespread in Russia and are often used in taxis.
