The ADAC Auto Club lists the best used cars based on value for money

Experts analyzed the results of their own tests on 300 parameters, compared them with current market prices on DAT-Marketspiegel and published them on their portal. The study looked at three-year-old cars with a mileage of about 33 thousand kilometers – this age is considered optimal in terms of price and technical condition.

Thus, in the category up to 15 thousand euros (1.4 million rubles), the compact city hatchback Toyota Aygo X with modern security systems was recognized as the best. Among cars costing up to 20 thousand euros (1.87 million rubles), the Opel Corsa-e Elegance electric car (power reserve of about 280 km) won.

In a budget of up to 25 thousand euros (2.3 million rubles), the best was the Volkswagen Golf 2.0 TDI diesel hatchback, which was singled out for its efficiency, reliable behavior on the road and a high level of safety.

In the most expensive segment (up to 30 thousand euros / 2.8 million rubles), the leader is the diesel station wagon Volkswagen Golf Variant 2.0 TDI DSG, offering a spacious interior, low fuel consumption and many electronic assistants, although its multimedia system is called difficult to operate.

ADAC experts emphasize that even models from the rating require a thorough pre-sale check of technical condition, service history and legal purity.
