It is indexed by 2 rubles during periods of highest traffic on the route on weekdays, RIA Novosti reports.
Now, traveling through the MSD section during morning and evening rush hours will cost motorists 15 rubles (previously – 13 rubles). Payment is charged only on weekdays during critically busy time intervals: from 7:00 to 11:00 Moscow time and from 16:00 to 20:00 Moscow time.
At the same time, for transit travel the tariff remains the same and amounts to 950 rubles. On weekends and holidays, as well as the rest of the day on weekdays, traffic on the MSD remains free for all categories of drivers.
The department explained that indexation is aimed at a more even distribution of traffic and reducing the load on the highway during the busiest hours. The Moscow High-Speed Diameter is one of the city’s key highways, connecting major outbound routes and areas in the northeast, east and southeast of the capital.
