The Chinese buy on the new Geely Atlas every two minutes

This is evidenced by data on the sales of the new items that Geely shared on the Weibo social network. We are talking about the ATLAS crossover, positioning as the fourth generation, but in fact it is a modernized version of the third generation model with a corrected appearance. The excitement demand at the start proves that the new, more stringent Geely Atlas design came to the taste of the Chinese.

It’s not easy to figure out the atlases family. For example, in Russia, the first generation Geely Atlas was sold, which was replaced by Atlas Pro. Now we have presented a new atlas without any prefixes to the name, and the Pro-Crossover has been brought under the Belgee brand-now it wears the X70 index. Meanwhile, in China since 2022, a third -generation crossover was sold, which lasted less than three years in the ranks – it was replaced by Atlas, which grew up in dimensions, with a new exterior and interior design. At the same time, the engines and platform went to him from his predecessor.

From the Geely report, it follows that in three weeks from the moment of start of sales, the model diverged 12,248 units. The company emphasized that contracts for the purchase of each new Atlas were issued every 2.1 minutes. Earlier, the automaker cited the statistics of the ATlas implementation in the history of the model: from 2016 to 2025, two million copies were sold, and during this period every 2.3 minutes one person became the owner of such a crossover.

In China, the new Atlas is presented with two engines to choose from: a basic 1.5-liter capacity of 181 horsepower and top two-liter, developing 218 forces. In both cases, the gearbox is a seven -speed “robot”, and the front drive. There is a model in the home market 99.9–126.9 thousand yuan, which is equivalent to 1.05-1.35 million rubles.
