The electric motor of the Mazda 6e is located at the rear and produces 258 hp as standard. and 320 Nm, but on the Long Range version it is derated to 245 hp. and 320 Nm. The success of Changan’s expansion into Europe through cooperation with Mazda will depend on prices. In China, the top-six costs 180 thousand yuan (24 thousand euros), so there is room for attractive prices. And in a year, the Mazda 6e will receive a right-hand drive version and reach the UK market.
