After the premiere in Dubai and the launch of mass production in Wuhu, the first batches of cars were sent for testing and refinement for further deliveries to Russia.
“We create cars for real-life use – from city streets to remote areas. Taking into account Russian frosts, long distances and difficult road conditions, careful fine-tuning of the design and service is important,” iCaur said.
The company also reported that for the Russian market the V27 received a reinforced chassis and increased ground clearance.
The main feature of the new product is a sequential hybrid installation. It is based on a 1.5-liter petrol turbo engine, which operates solely as a generator, feeding a traction battery with a capacity of 34 kWh.
Two separate electric motors are responsible for the movement – one on each axle, providing permanent all-wheel drive. The peak total power of the system reaches 465 horsepower, but in long-term (30-minute) load mode it is limited to 152 horsepower.
The hybrid SUV accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in 6.5 seconds. The total range is stated at 1,100 kilometers, of which about 155 km can be driven exclusively on electric power without starting the internal combustion engine.
It was previously reported that UAZ is testing new diesel models in extreme conditions.
