The cost of the electric Cadillac Escalade IQ has been revealed

The “green” alter ego of Cadillac’s flagship SUV was valued at $129,990 (13.4 million rubles). And this is just the starting price: the top version will cost $150,490 (15.5 million) even without additional options. For comparison: the current gasoline Escalade in the USA is estimated at $89,950 (9.3 million rubles), and its maximum cost is $121,890 (12.6 million).

However, in the Escalade range there is a “charged” V-Series with a fuel engine, which costs more than even the top electric car – $164,990. A delivery fee is added to the price: in the USA they charge 2,290 dollars (236 thousand rubles).

The Escalade IQ, unveiled in the summer of 2023, will be sold in four trim levels. Already in the basic Luxury 1, the SUV has 24-inch wheels with black center caps; the Sport 1 ($130,490, or 13.5 million rubles) adds thin vertical headlights, a 36-speaker audio system, improved seats with massage and new safety systems .

In Luxury 2 and Sport 2, the Executive Second Row Seating Package is available for $7,500 (773 thousand rubles), which adds comfort to rear passengers: heating, ventilation, 10-point massage, as well as its own eight-inch screen, two compartments for wireless charging, folding tables and so on. The price of these options is almost the same – $149,990 and $150,490, respectively (about 15.5 million rubles).

The Escalade IQ is built on the Ultium platform with an 800-volt electrical architecture. It has a huge traction battery with a capacity of 200 kilowatt-hours, powering two electric motors.

The unit’s peak output is 761 horsepower (1,063 Nm), but this power is only available for a short time in Velocity Max mode. For example, to accelerate to “hundreds,” which the Escalade IQ will take less than five seconds. Constant power is equal to 687 forces (834 Nm). The estimated range on a single charge is 724 kilometers according to the EPA cycle.
