Representatives of the Perm company, in an interview with a Motor correspondent, said that there are no plans to produce single-wheel drive modifications of the car. Russo-Balt relies on utilitarianism, not offering customers more affordable versions.

“The crossover will only have all-wheel drive. No options,” said a representative of the Russo-Balt press service in response to a question from a Motor correspondent about the types of drives for the future model.

Russo-Balt plans to present its first full-size crossover in the summer of 2026.

The second model in the line of the Perm startup will receive engines with a power of over 200 hp. In January of this year, the company officially presented its debut model – the F200 electric van. The commercial vehicle of the revived domestic brand is designed in a style reminiscent of the Tesla Cybertruck pickup truck.

According to the company, the van is equipped with an electric motor producing 204 hp. and a lithium iron phosphate battery with a capacity of 105 kWh. This reserve, according to the developers, is enough to cover 400 km without recharging. The van body is made of stainless steel, the load capacity is one ton.

The cost of an electric van starts from 6.5 million rubles. First deliveries to customers are scheduled for January 2027.

The original cars under the Russo-Balt brand were produced in pre-revolutionary Russia from 1909 to 1918. During this time, several hundred copies were collected.

Earlier, Russo-Balt told what other body types are in the plans.
