The Department of Transport asked Moscow drivers not to drive onto the road due to a snowstorm

Currently, the average speed in the capital is 33 km/h. This was reported by the Telegram channel “Deptrans. Promptly.”

“According to the data center, the city’s roads are now at 4 points. It will snow until tomorrow morning. If you do not need to leave right now, the best solution would be to stay at work, at a party or at home until 20:00. Afterwards, the main flow will disperse,” the publication says.

According to the channel, today there are local closures in the city in the Central Administrative District. The passage for vehicles was limited on the Bolshoy Kamenny Bridge and Novoarbatsky Bridge. In addition, heavy traffic is observed on Myasnitskaya Street, Prechistenskaya Embankment and Bolshaya Nikitskaya Street. The Department of Transport advised drivers to avoid these sections of the road if possible.

Earlier it became known when traffic on the Moscow Ring Road would be paralyzed.
