Within the framework of winter tests, the developers checked the operation of the suspension elements, the steering mechanism, as well as electronic stabilizing systems to achieve a balance between dynamics and stability. The domestic chassis in different weather was originally tested on specially built “mules”. Then the creators checked the performance of the “cart” on the pre -production samples of the electric car.

A comfortable driving mode involves reduced energy costs due to smooth acceleration, as well as stability during acceleration and maneuvering. When using the dynamic mode, the atom will respond faster to the accelerator pedal and will be able to pass at higher speed. At the same time, the stroke reserve with such a driving manner will be reduced.

An atom will receive an 204-horsepower engine located on the rear axle and a battery placed in the floor. Other features of the Russian model will be a completely independent suspension and a 170-mm clearance.

In early March, Russia announced the start of the production of electric vehicles atom. The model should stand on the conveyor in July.
