Alexei Spirin did not run ahead and disclose prices for diesel versions of UAZ. The top manager promised that the plant’s products would be “much cheaper than the nearest competitors”. According to experts, Patriot with a diesel engine will rise in price by at least 250 thousand rubles. Not only the engine will change: the Flagship UAZ will receive a different gearbox, a “handout”, modern LED optics, and other components of the interior and exterior.

The general director of UAZ promised that the updated Patriot would remain a full -fledged SUV, but it would become more comfortable for everyday use and safer.
