The new model, which will soon replenish the Omoda line in the Russian market, was shown at a closed event for potential buyers. As the Chinese Cars portal found out, the return of its 1.6-liter turbo engine will be 150 horsepower, and the equipment list will include a touch screen with a diagonal of 15.6 inches and an audio system with eight speakers. Sales will begin in April or May.

Omoda C7 is a medium -sized crossover that will be a step above C5, and he will compete with Geely Atlas, the new Haval F7 and Jetour Dashing. The novelty has a futuristic design for which it was awarded gold in the French Design Award contest, and the equipment list includes a 16.5-inch tablet of a multimedia system with a resolution of 2.5K and a background of 256 colors, adjacent to the music. C7 will be offered in several trim levels with wheel discs with a diameter of 18 or 19 inches.

As expected, a 1.6 -liter engine was reduced from 186 to 150 horsepower, the torque is 275 nm. The motor works in a conjunction with a seven -speed “robot” with a double wet clutch, front or complete drive depending on the modification. Earlier it was reported that the C7 has a system of intellectual dynamic lighting, “drawing” patterns that change depending on the situation. Futurism by the car adds a scattering of LED lamps on the sides of the front bumper. The filling of the rear lights is stylized as a lightning category – they work using the latest super -painted lighting technology. Simply put, they shine brighter than usual.

As for the cost, it has not yet been announced. According to unofficial data, Omoda C7 will perform in the same price segment with Jaecoo J7, that is, in the “base” it can be slightly cheaper than three million rubles.
