The Grand Koleos crossover, which is a turning over Geely Monjaro, was originally an exclusive model for the South Korean market. At least several such cars can be brought to Russia in parallel routes, the Autonomous Office of the Day portal drew attention to the announcements of their sale. From one of the dealers, the model can be bought for 3.8 million rubles – the new Monjaro in the basic configuration costs the same in Russia. The other price reaches 4.5 million.
Grand Koleos debuted in South Korea last summer and became the first joint project of Renault and Geely. The French borrowed the power structure of the body from Monjaro and the hybrid power plant with which the model is sold in the Chinese market (there it is called Xingyue L). The differences are reduced to the design of the exterior: the car has a frameless grille of the radiator, into which the optics of the original Mongjaro fit very harmoniously. In the South Korean market, the crossover caused a stir: at the time of launch, the local Renault dealers took several hundred orders every day, and in 11 days their number exceeded seven thousand pieces.
In Russia, they will begin to release Renault again, but under a different name Geely Monjaro – missed Volvo? Renault Grand Koleos based on Geely Monjaro has acquired a very black special version
Renault Grand Koleos, which is available for ordering in Russia, is driven by a 245-horsepower hybrid power plant based on a 1.5-liter motor base. The drive of such a focus is front. The company from Vladivostok is engaged in supplies, the price varies from 3.8 to 4.5 million rubles and is calculated at the current exchange rate.
Earlier it was reported that Renault Grand Koleos may also appear outside South Korea – not in Russia, but in the Middle East, in Africa, Australia, but in the future in South America. The export version will lose the Grand prefix and will be positioned as a new generation Koleos.
