In the open base of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of China, photos and characteristics of the SEAL 06 DM-I hybrid with a new body type appeared. The novelty largely repeats the BYD Sedan-Bestller of the same name, but the dimensions are slightly different: the station wagon is two centimeters longer, one and a half centimeters wider and a centimeter above the source. Two front -wheel drive versions with atmospheric 1.5 and electric motor are certified.

Thanks to the Ministry of Industry and Trade of China, it is obvious that the BYD Seal 06 DM-I station wagon to the rear rack is almost literally repeating the sedan, and even from the stern the unification is amazing: the lighting equipment is common, and the bumper is visually distinguishable. In technology, also without surprises: atmospheric motor 1.5 (99 horsepower) works in a bunch either with a 161-horsepower electric motor, or with its forced version (215 horsepower).

Two variants of traction lithium-jeles-phosphate batteries for 10.1 or 15.9 kilowatt-hour were declared. In the first case, the margin without activation of the internal combustion engine is up to 53 kilometers, in the second – 83 kilometers (CLTC). Due to the deterioration of aerodynamics, autonomy decreased by almost one and a half times (compared to sedan), although the batteries are identical, and the difference in the equipped mass does not exceed 40 kilograms.

According to preliminary data, the BYD station wagon is aimed at Europe. In the domestic market, SEAL 06 DM-I is sold well with a non-alternative body: from May 2024 to February 2025, buyers found 220.7 thousand sedans at a price of 100 thousand yuan (14 thousand dollars). Two -awesome models from China are gaining move: the station wagons have already developed ZEEKR and NIO.
