The first pictures of the new electrical crossover Xiaomi appeared

The head of the IT corporation, Lay Jun, shared a series of photographs of the Yu7 model in natural light, while before the electric car was shown only in closed rooms. You can consider Lidar on the roof, like the SU7 sedan, as well as one of the 26 wheeled discs that will be available for Yu7. As for the dimensions of the “green” crossover, it is comparable in size with the BMW X5 and Lexus RX.

Carnewschina writes that Xiaomi Yu7 will enter the Chinese market from June to July this year, and it will cost about 300-400 thousand yuan, which is equivalent to 3.5-4.6 million rubles. In Russia, preliminary orders are already accepted for a model, which, even before the announcement of the official value in China, was estimated at 5.5-6.7 million.

The crossover will have several versions: a single -engine with a capacity of 320 horsepower and a two -engine with a dedication of 691 horsepower. The maximum speed is also disclosed: in the first case, it is limited to 240 kilometers per hour, in the second – 253. The equipment of the electric car varies from 2315 to 2405 kilograms, and the range reaches 700 kilometers.

Previously, the crossover salon was also declassified. Yu7 does not have a traditional dashboard: its functions are performed by a thin display, stretched in the entire width of the windshield. The central place on the front panel will take a touchscreen of the media system in the thick frame, which can be moved closer to the driver or passenger. The multimedia system will work on the Xiaomi Hyperos operating system.

The steering wheel looks different than that of the sedan: it is flattened from above, covered with Alcantara and decorated with inserts “under the carbon”. To the right of the steering wheel is the Boost Mode button to activate a short-term boost-mode, on the left is another button for activating the driver assistance systems. Lidar, more than a dozen cameras and three radars are responsible for the work of the latter.

It is already known that Xiaomi will enter foreign markets in the next few years, among which Russia may be. Earlier, an IT giant concluded an agreement on global export-trading cooperation with the subsidiary of Sinomach Auto, Hyperion Liding (Tianjin), which has a Russian branch.
