The Best Car portal shared the screenshots who shed light on the long -awaited “younger” all -terrain vehicle. As expected, the most affordable and compact model from the Land Cruiser family will receive a FJ prefix. The basis will be the frame architecture of TNGA-F, but in a shortened form: the closest “relative” of the novelty is the budget pickup Hilux Champ. Otherwise, there are no compromises.

Basic configurations: what auto giants are silent about

Toyota Land Cruiser FJ will retain a constant all -wheel drive with the Torsen inter -Esex differential, which under normal conditions distributes the torque in the proportion of 40:60 (with an emphasis on the rear axle). There is a reduction gear, blurry front stabilizer, blocking the rear and interdosseous differentials. The geometry is also off -road: the angles of entry/congress/ramps are equal, respectively, 33/30/26 degrees, respectively.

The rear suspension with an uncertain bridge is visible in the diagram, but there is no information about the type of engine in the brochure. But the appearance and salon are disclosed: the exterior will be designed in the style of the base Land Cruiser Prado 250, although the novelty will be noticeably compact. Conservative salon: traditional for Toyota media system with “hot” keys and washers, classic transmission selector, multi -line with physical buttons, simple and functional ducts.
