The latest Mercedes tractors reached Russia with a futuristic design

The Volgograd region captured the flagship truck of the German automatic concern. We are talking about diesel Mercedes-Benz Actros L with the ProCabin design in the spirit of electric cars. This is the most modern Daimler truck: production began in December 2024, prices will start with 150,000 euros. The tractor from Russia has not yet registered: he has German transit.

Judging by the numbers, the truck was driven to Russia from Hermershaim. Direct exports are impossible due to sanctions, so the buyer had to come up with an alternative scheme. They did not save on the configuration: Mercedes-Benz Actros L Giga Space top cabin. In design and salon, such a diesel tractor repeats the futuristic Eactros electric car.

The bold approach to aerodynamics and an effective diesel allowed to reduce fuel consumption by seven percent compared to its predecessor. The tractor can be equipped with in -line six -cylinder engines OM470 (10.7 liters), OM471 (12.8 liters) or OM473 (15.6 liters) with a capacity of up to 626 horsepower. Previously unprecedented systems for assisting the driver, and the software of the cruise control and automatic transmission has been updated.

Mercedes-Benz Actros L in our country is unlikely to become massive tractors: the market for trucks falls, and carriers are unlikely to overpay for a “Germans” from 50 to 100 percent. In addition, you can purchase a new Mercedes-Benz Actros of the outgoing generation without problems: in Russia, in abundance of Chinese-made cars.
