The FBU Rosavtotrans, which is subordinate to the Ministry of Transport, ordered the implementation of a module to protect against cheating in exams in a program that is used to check drivers transporting dangerous goods and employees of transport enterprises, Motor magazine found out.
During the exam, a computer with a video camera will ensure that the person does not take his eyes off the screen and does not listen to prompts from strangers. Motor magazine got acquainted with the technical specifications for this development.
“Averted gaze and extraneous voices can serve as the basis for analyzing video and audio materials of testing in order to identify violations of the certification procedure. The candidate is prohibited from switching between browser windows or minimizing the window in which the certification is taking place,” the terms of reference states.
A warning about this will be displayed in the personal account of the person being examined. The computers on which drivers and other transport workers will undergo certification will be equipped with video cameras, the document specifies.
If the system detects cheating of correct answers or a hint, the video recording will be checked by examiners.
