Details about the basic modification of the YU7 model were shared by the Chinese Cars portal with reference to data from the database of the Ministry of Industry of the People’s Republic of China. The crossover will receive a single-engine power plant – the electric motor will develop 320 horsepower, but the battery capacity and power reserve have not yet been made public. It is logical to assume that such a YU7 will cost significantly less than an all-wheel drive with two electric motors developing a total of 691 horsepower.
The debut of Xiaomi YU7 took place in December 2024, but this was only a preview without details, and a full premiere is expected during 2025. The design of the crossover is the same as that of the already launched SU7 sedan, the only difference is the body, which has a silhouette reminiscent of the Porsche Macan. The dimensions of the electric car are as follows: length is 4.99 meters, width is 1.99 meters, height is 1.6 meters, and the wheelbase is exactly three meters. For comparison, the Macan measures 4726x1922x1621 with a wheelbase of 2.89 meters.

Until now, all that was known was that Xiaomi was preparing an all-wheel drive version of the YU7 with two electric motors, which will accelerate to 253 kilometers per hour. The power of the front engine will be 299 horsepower, the rear – 392. The electric car will have wheels with a diameter of 19 to 21 inches and an ABS ESP Bosch 10.0 unit.
Now information has appeared that a basic version with one electric motor will also go on sale, its maximum speed is 240 kilometers per hour. Curb weight will vary from 2315 to 2405 kilograms.
If the all-wheel drive version will cost approximately 300-400 thousand yuan (4.2-5.5 million rubles at today’s exchange rate), then a single-wheel drive electric car can be offered for about 250 thousand (3.5 million rubles).
