In total, 16 license plates are sold in the Russian Federation at a price of two billion rubles. One of the lots has been on sale since 2023, the rest – from 2024 and 2025. Sellers set their own prices.
At the same time, the region codes for these numbers are different, among them are Moscow, Adygea, Krasnoyarsk Territory and Dagestan.
It is important to note that in Russia it is impossible to legally sell or buy a license plate for a car. Despite this, a market for such proposals exists.
In October, State Duma deputies from the New People faction introduced a bill proposing to legalize paid booking of “beautiful” rooms through the State Services portal.
The document assumes that the reservation procedure and fee amount will be established by the authorized registration body. As noted in the material, the State Duma plans to consider this bill in February of this year.
