The new Changan and Huawei sedan has become a convertible

Photos of the roofless Avatr 06, a sedan that [представили](https://motor.ru/news/avatr-06-10-12-2024.htm) just a couple of days ago. This option has four doors, like the “original”, and there are no central window pillars. It is still unknown whether this option will go into mass production, and the start of sales of the 06 sedan is expected at the beginning of 2025.

There is no information about the convertible yet, so we can only judge it from spy photos. It is probably no different in size from a sedan: the Avatr 06 reaches 4855 millimeters in length, 1960 in width, and 1450-1467 millimeters in height with a wheelbase of 2940 millimeters.

The four-door will be equipped with both a hybrid powertrain and a fully electric one. The electric car can be single- or dual-engine and develop 343 or 598 horsepower, respectively. In the first case, the drive is front-wheel drive, in the second – all-wheel drive. The battery capacity produced by the Chinese CATL exceeds 82 kilowatt-hours, but the power reserve has not yet been disclosed.

The hybrid installation is sequential: a 1.5-liter turbo engine with 156 horsepower plays the role of a generator, and a 314-horsepower electric motor is connected to the rear wheels. The latter is powered by a battery with a capacity of about 39 kilowatt-hours. The 06’s top speed is limited to 200 kilometers per hour.

Among the “chips” of Avatr 06 is the third-level Qiankun ADS autopilot from Huawei, which also provided its HarmonyOS operating system for multimedia.

The expected cost of the sedan is less than 219,900 yuan (3.1 million rubles). The exact price should be announced at the beginning of 2025.
