The press service of the Chinese office of the brand shared the official pictures of Boyue L. In the CIS countries, the model is known as Geely Atlas. The novelty is positioned as the fourth generation, and there are grounds for such an approach: not only the exterior and interior have changed, but also the wheelbase, and the length of the overhangs! However, the motor gamut is the same: the turbo engines are announced with a volume of 1.5 and 2.0 liters.
New Geely Atlas: Design above all
The distance between the axes increased by eight millimeters (up to 2785 mm), the length increased by 60 millimeters (up to 4730 mm), an increase in width and height – 10 and 5 millimeters, respectively. In front of the “fourth” Geely Atlas stands out by the grate of the radiator with vertical rods and conservative headlights in one tier. The back of the lanterns is at the back, and the number is now on the bumper, not the trunk lid.

In the cabin from the predecessor, only the steering wheel and chairs went. The rest is new: door cards, front panel, multimedia system, instrument panel – final improvements. The touchscreen has become widespread with horizontal orientation, the ducts are no longer hidden, the engine start button moved to the central tunnel, became more traditional armrests.
There is no official information about the technique of official information, but it is clear from certification documents: the base 1.5-liter unit will develop 181 horsepower, and the top 2.0-liter-218 horsepower. Probably, the filling will not change, that is, both turbo engines will be combined with a 7-speed “robot”. The Russian Geely Atlas has its own technique and there is all -wheel drive.

The Chinese presentation of Geely Atlas will take place on April 9. Then configurations and prices are expected, although it is already clear that the Flyme Sound audio system with 16 speakers will be a highlight. Only 2.5 years have passed since the debut of the past generation, so two iterations can be sold in parallel.
