The new Omoda C3 crossover was presented in China, which is waiting in Russia

The crossover, inferior to C5 in terms of dimensions, made his debut at the Shanghai Auto Show: he has a stylish design with chopped lines and crouched wheel arches, and the body is two -color, with a black contrast roof. “Chinese cars” note that some elements in the exterior look debatable. At that time, the final design was not yet and it was assumed that the C3’s platform and units would share from the Chery Tiggo 3X, which is also the restyled Cheri Tiggo 2 outside of China.

Now a new version is voiced – the “donor” for C3 could be the Jaecoo J5, which is indicated by similar factory indices: T13C and T13J.

It is only known about power plants that there will be several of them, including a version with a gasoline engine, a hybrid installation and a completely electric one. According to unofficial data, the fuel C3 can receive a bunch of a gasoline turbo engine with a volume of 1.5 liters and a variator, which is also declared for J5.

The full global premiere of Omoda C3 is scheduled for October 2025.

Theoretically, the novelty can reach us by the end of this year or at the beginning of the next. In the meantime, Omoda is represented in the Russian market C5, which recently survived restyling and sedan S5. On the way and the third model is the C7 crossover.
