The car will go on sale in the near future and will be available on the Russian market in three trim levels.
The new product is offered with front-wheel drive and a 1.5-liter turbo engine with a capacity of 147 hp, well known to the Russian market. The main technical innovation is the abandonment of the CVT in favor of a 6-speed robotic transmission with two clutches. The manufacturer explains the change in transmission type by customer requests for a faster response of the box to pressing the gas.
The names of the configurations are Russified: these are “Active”, “Drive” and “Style”. Already in the basic version for 2.35 million rubles, the car is equipped with LED headlights and rear lights, front and side airbags, rear parking sensors and a rear view camera. There are two 12-inch screens in the cabin; the media system supports wireless connection to a smartphone via Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

In the middle configuration (2.5 million rubles), the new Omoda C5 received artificial leather trim, an electric driver’s seat, heated second row seats, dual-zone climate control and an electric tailgate. It also has a more advanced media system with a 15-inch screen.
In the maximum configuration for 2.65 million rubles, the car received a sunroof, ventilated front seats, an audio system with eight speakers, as well as a set of electronic driver assistants including adaptive cruise control.
Earlier, Moskvich announced prices for crossovers of the new model line.
