Previously, only the Superb Combi station wagon had this version, but now the PHEV system has been added to the Superbu with the Hatch prefix. It includes a 1.5 TSI turbo-four, an electric motor and a battery with a capacity of 25.7 kilowatt-hours, providing more than 120 kilometers of range without starting the internal combustion engine.

The Skoda Superb Combi iV plug-in hybrid will soon be joined by a similar modification, but in a liftback body. Its power plant will include the usual set of 1.5 TSI petrol turbo-four (150 hp), a traction electric motor (117 hp) integrated into the DSG robot, and a battery with a capacity of 25.7 kilowatt-hours. The combined power of the system will be 204 horsepower, peak torque – 330 Nm. You shouldn’t count on all-wheel drive – only the most powerful non-hybrid Superbs have it.

Skoda Skoda Superb has acquired a “sports” version of Sportline

An electric motor in such a scheme can both assist the internal combustion engine and work independently of it, allowing you to travel on electric power for more than 120 kilometers. The hybrid battery supports DC charging with a power of up to 50 kilowatts. Filling it from 10 to 80% in this case takes 26 minutes, but from a wall device or AC “speaker” a full charge will take two and a half hours.

The operating mode of the power plant depends on the selected profile. In addition to the usual Eco, Comfort, Normal, Sport and Individual, the Superb Hatch iV has special E-mode, Hybrid mode and Sport mode presets. The hybrid’s equipment includes second-generation LED Matrix headlights (50% more segments and 15% brighter), Smart Dials with screens and a wide range of assistive electronics. Orders for liftbacks will begin to be accepted in the coming weeks. The start of production is scheduled for the second quarter.
