On Wednesday, new tariffs for goods imported into the United States come into force. They will be especially gestured for China: products from China, including cars, US President Donald Trump promised to overcome 104 percent duties. However, Trump is waiting for a call from the Chinese side and is ready to make a deal if it is arranged by the conditions.

Earlier, the United States introduced 20 percent duties on imports from China. On April 2, Trump announced an additional 34 percent, to which Beijing introduced a similar 34 percent tariff for American goods. Trump, in turn, assured that he would raise the fee by another 50 percent – up to 104 percent, if the Chinese continue to implement the plans for response measures. They reacted abruptly in the PRC: the actions of the USA “blackmail” and vowed to “fight to the end”.

Meanwhile, the United States is already negotiating with other countries that have also been covered with large -scale tariffs. China for the country is not a priority, the White House said: there are more interesting contacts with Japan, South Korea and others. The Chinese side, according to Trump, itself “really wants to make a deal”, and the president is waiting for a call.

It is noteworthy that the head of Tesla and the close associate of Trump, Ilon Musk, had already asked the president to change the course several times. Duties introduced against long -standing US allies brought down stock markets and reduced the conditions of American billionaires, including a mask. According to some experts, the inability of the mask to convince Trump can talk about cooling in their relationship.

Earlier, the European auto industry predicted collapses due to US duties. Especially sensitive will be a blow to the economies of Germany, Italy, Hungary and Poland. Some of the manufacturers have already stopped the supply of cars to the American market and are waiting for what the negotiations of the authorities will lead to.
