The US President used new highly protected SUVs during his visit to the International Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. In addition to the Cadillac One ceremonial limousine, the President of the United States also has SUVs at his disposal. Before the new Cadillacs came into service, he drove a Chevrolet Suburban.

The announcement that the US President has started using new Cadillac SUVs appeared on the Secret Service’s social networks. This department, traditionally part of the US Treasury Department, is responsible for the protection of the first person.

“Excellent work by our team and partners in organizing President Trump’s trip to Davos. We were pleased to strengthen our long-standing relationship with General Motors by introducing these vehicles as part of our security fleet,” Secret Service Director Sean Curran said in a statement.

The publication is accompanied by a photograph of a Cadillac SUV with armored windows and US and Swiss flags mounted on the front fenders.

Reuters clarifies that the new Cadillac SUVs were completed and put into operation recently. At least two cars are visible in the published footage.

“They appear to be modified Cadillac Escalades, but the agency has not confirmed this,” the Reuters report noted.

Earlier in the United States, firefighters found an ownerless Chevrolet Corvette in a swamp.
