The final ranking of the global automotive industry for 2025 was published only after the belated release of Stellantis Group’s financial report, which the group delayed until February 26. As a result, Toyota, Volkswagen, Hyundai Motor and General Motors maintained their positions in the top four, and Stellantis Group took fifth place.

Three Chinese auto companies at once became leaders in the global auto industry: BYD, SAIC and Geely entered the top 10, taking sixth, seventh and ninth places, respectively.
