The Russian market for the GAC is not just important – last year it became the main area of exports, taking about 20 thousand cars of the Chinese brand. Therefore, she decided not to skimp on the new items: on March 17, the Russian GAC line was replenished with the Empow sedan, as well as the GS4 and GS8 Traveller crossovers. The latter, however, is not an independent model, but a well -entered version of the flagship for lovers of auto tutorism.
GAC Empow, aka Dodge Attitude for the Mexican market, is the first sedan of the brand in Russia. In terms of dimensions, he is close to Hyundai Elantra: he has 4.7 meters from the bumper to the bumper, and the wheelbase is 2.7 meters. In the Russian Empow market, you will have to fight for the buyer with the Changan UNI-V, CHERISOSO 8 and Dongfeng Shine Max.
The four -door is based on the GPMA platform, which it shares with the “younger” GAC GS3 crossover. The novelty drives a 1.5-liter turbo engine with a capacity of 170 horsepower (250 nm of torque). In China, he gives out 177, but, as usual, for Russia the unit was deformed. A pair of the motor is a semi -diaphasnous “robot”. The front -wheel drive sedan, as assured in the GAC, is able to accelerate from a place to 100 kilometers per hour in less than seven seconds. The maximum speed is 200 kilometers per hour.

In the homeland, Empow is also offered with a two -liter engine for 265 forces and with a hybrid installation based on a two -liter “atmospheric” (238 forces). None of these units will have the Russian EMPOW, but the “sports” version of S is declared with a different body kit, a bright decor, a double -barreled exhaust with adjustable volume and special settings of the motor and steering.
As for the equipment, in the cabin (in the “top” it is finished with genuine leather) two 10.25-inch display are installed, the Yamaha audio system with eight speakers is responsible for the sound, and 32-color backlit is for comfort. The front seats have heated and ventilation; Climate control is two-zone. There is an active cruise control, chambers of a circular review and another. In the gamut of the flowers of the body, there were no frills: black, white, gray and silver are available. The interior can be completely black, blue and blue or gray-black. EMPOW prices will be announced on March 24.

Another newcomer for our market is the GS4 city crossover. In length, it reaches the same 4.7 meters and performs in the same class with Geely Atlas, Chere Tiggo 7 Pro Max and Changan CS75 Plus. At the same time, it is related to the EMKOO model of 2022: with a more expensive GS4 model, the chassis, body, side panels, salon and units are being distinguished. At least 638 liters of cargo will fit in the trunk, and with the folded lists of the rear row – 1586. For a sopenic from Geely, for comparison, the trunk will be more and will accommodate 650 and 1610 liters, respectively.
Under the hood, the GS4 is the same 1.5-liter engine with a capacity of 170 forces paired with a “robot”. The drive is only front, although competitors are offered with full. But a system for choosing a movement modes with four presents is declared: Eco, Comfort, Sport and with personal settings.

Only one was prepared for Russia for Russia. The seven-inch digital “tidy”, the 10.1-inch screen of the multimedia system, climate control, compartment for wireless charging and four USB-sneakers were declared. The crossover is equipped with circular review cameras, rear parking sensors, electric -regulations of a driver’s seat in six directions and front passenger – in four.

At the same time, the “tourist” GS8 with the prefix Traveller was debuted – the most expensive option in the line of the flagship seven -seater SUV. Its cost was announced in advance-4,649,000 rubles, taking into account the discount on Traid-Inu (4,949,000 rubles without it), while the basic version costs from 3,799,000.
Such a version (GAC itself writes its name and as Traveler and as Traveller) is characterized by an off -road body kit and other design of the front. It is equipped with LED fog lights, 20-inch wheels with exclusive design and additional external boxing on the fifth door.
